Furniture made with recycled plastic
It might be difficult, it might seem like a small gesture, but at Hannun we want to tackle plastic pollution. And that’s exactly what we’re taking steps to do by launching a collection that aims to give a new life to post-industrial plastic, recovering some of what’s been dumped into the ocean.
See collection13 million tonnes of plastic
are dumped into the sea every year.
More than 2,000 marine species
suffer from plastic pollution in their natural environments.
100,000 marine animals
die each year from plastic (ingestion, entanglement or suffocation).

WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT IT?
At Hannun, we’re committed to changing the statu quo, and we want to have a positive impact in and out of the sea. Because if we’re all able to do our bit, we can truly make a difference. We don’t have to invent anything new; we have to do the things we already do better!
We’ve reduced our plastic use to just 2% of all raw materials we work with.
We’re launching The Way We Sea collection, which features 100% recycled plastic.
We work with teams that are specialists in the separation and recycling of waste in all our workshops.
New and improved material
How do we do it?
It’s not just a question of aesthetics: we want to have a positive impact on the planet.
By recovering and recycling the material, we don’t just prevent more waste polluting the ocean and threatening life in and out of the sea, we’re also giving new and better use to the plastic we already have in our environment, reducing the consumption of wood.
A collection with impact
Sustainable wood and recycled plastic
It’s not just a question of aesthetics: we want to have a positive impact on the planet.
Each piece of furniture in our “The way we SEA” collection is made with recovered and recycled post-industrial plastic. Recycling this material means we can change the course of its life for the better, redirecting it from the sea and back into the system, reducing the consumption of raw materials such as wood in the process.
With your help, we can prevent up to 1 kg of plastic per piece of furniture from ending up in the sea.Imagine how much we could clean up if we work together?
