Alongside her sister Cristina, Alicia runs the workshop founded by her father Nicasio in 1997, who managed to transmit his passion for all things related to the world of woodwork on to his daughters who grew up playing in the midst of the sawdust of his workshop. They really do make the perfect team: the sisters take charge of the creative design of their pieces, while their dad takes the role of artisan carpenter and their mum crafts the finishing coating for all of the pieces. Alicia strives to put value and pride in her origins and transmit the essence of her slow-burnt finish products ranging from furniture to decorative pieces.
WHY DO WE WORK WITH Alicia?
We share Alicia’s love for working with sustainable solid woods. Her pieces are handmade and treated with eco-friendly water-based varnishes that are naturally free from toxic substances. She is currently in charge of making Hannun’s Isaura Ladder Shelf, Branko Lamp, Keita Wooden Box and Dione Wine Rack Holder.
