Transforming clay into authentic feelings and allowing himself to be inspired by every detail that happens during the artisan process: this is the nature of Anas’ creative style, a craftsman based in Barcelona who creates unique pieces that always turn heads. This “soulmade story” goes back much further, to a time before Anas was born, when his grandmother used the same creative impulse, as did his great-grandmother before her, who dedicated her life to pottery making in Morocco.
A multicultural connection that spans generations is present in his creations, which feature an authentically personal hallmark and are inspired in a diverse range of elements-including traditional pottery. The creative process he uses for each piece is unique and contributes to a one-of-a-kind finished product.
BARE POTTERY: GOING BEYOND SHAPE
The new clay pottery collection goes beyond shape and form. It’s style even leads us to use the term “bare pottery”: totally artisanal and made without using any excessive elements, including coatings and decorations that could result in the piece losing its essence.
