STORY
José began creating lamps three years ago, born out of the need to illuminate his life after a very dark episode. Since then, he hasn't stopped. He designs lamps with recycled wood and sustainable elements with the goal of creating the most welcoming environments possible. His designs stand out for their originality, as José loves to give a twist to conventional switches: his lamps light up when you move a pencil or close a latch. The result is unique pieces with their own personality, which are also environmentally friendly, being made from reclaimed wood.
WHY DO WE WORK WITH José?
This craftsman of light won us over with his creative mind that has the power to give such life to such an everyday piece of furniture as lamps. Our story begins in April 2020, when José discovered us on Instagram and sent an email asking to collaborate. We got in touch with him the very next day, seeing how his way of working fitted perfectly with Hannun's philosophy: simple, original designs that respect the environment that surrounds us.
